in my opinion, it all depends on your major. you have some strong ECs. they won't hold it against you that your school did not offer a lot of APs(obviously that just would not be fair) but keep in mind there are kids applying who have taken all APs/Honors and came out with a 4.0

As I read this forum, I noticed how I'm reaching for it, and I have pretty similar credentials. I was wonder what my chances are as well.

I applied ED using the primary/alternate college option with CALS (AEM major)as my first choice, and CAS (Economics) as my second.

yeah... here's how i think of it. Standardized tests seem alot more important, almost like they determine the future college i go to. The thought of that just completely kills my mind. and CALS requires only one or the other.

why do people feel it's necessary to include every single class they've taken? Just post what AP's you took and how you did in them, and make a general statement about the other classes.

On the Common App, you're only supposed to list what classes you're enrolled in senior year. As for your other classes, J380410, that's why they ask for an official high school transcript. What I also suggest you do is to take another SAT II if you have time and did not hand your app in already. I am aware of how difficult foreign language tests are after getting a 630 on the French test. So I suggest taking a science test or something; the chemistry test has a pretty generous curve so you should do fine on that. Ideally, you'd want to hand in 2 SAT IIs on which your scores are at least 700.

As for me, I'm pretty sure what will ultimately hurt me are my GPA (unweighted 3.74) and my class rank (12th or 13th percentile). Also, I don't know if my essay is any good.

Also, ImReachingForIt, did you take any SAT Subject Tests? If you freak out like that on an entrance exam, I don't know how you'll keep your mind together in any college test.

Don't remind me about the MCAT... actually, can you describe it to me? I have no idea how it's structured other than an English section, Bio section, and a Chem/Physics section

wow guys all i asked was to be chanced. I already posted that i applied ED and CALS doesn't require subject tests. as for what i put to be chanced, i copied and pasted from ****************.com

I forgot to mention that I have had an alumni interview, and that my main essay was about my reserach in alternative fuel and algae farming (which is consistent with College of AGRICULTURE and LIFE SCIENCES ;) ) and my supplemental was consistent with my main essay and expressed my passion. *Note: I had these essays looked over by teacher who only teaches students how to write college essays and write applications; she deemed them excellent (not bragging...just fyi).
