I'm currently a junior in the midwest and, after searching around online, I saw that USC would be a good place to study game design.
Simple GPA: 3.71

(I plan on taking it a few more times)
SAT: Should I take it?
I'm taking 3 college credit classes (one is specifically AP) and I plan on taking about 2 more AP classes next year. I've also been taking a foreign language for 3 years and will take it again next year. My non-AP classes are all honors classes.
I'm sure I could get outstanding letters of recommendation that commend the work I've done to help other students out.
I've been in band for about seven years (marching band 3 years) so far and chess club for 1 year.
I'm also a mexican female.

Definitely take the ACT again after doing more studying for it. Try the SAT, maybe that is your test. Your math scores need to be higher for computer science majors.

I could not help but notice your self-identity. Are you an American or Mexican national? USC has many Americans of Hispanic origin who apply and so the competition is stiff, especially given USC’s geographic location. If you are a Mexican national, however, your chances are probably enhanced since most foreign applicants are from the Far East. Good luck.

I’m an immigrant from Mexico and I know the language very well.
