Im a 20 year old international student with an American citizenship. I got a 2310 on the SAT, 800 on the math level 2 subject test and 770 on biology M subject test. Served in the army of my country and did a year of volunteering. What do u think my chances are of getting accepted into one of the ivy league schools? and should a expect a scholarship, if so in what range?
Scholarships in the IVY Leagues are need blind which means that your application is considered without looking at your financial needs.
@ciba1139 so u say if i get in i shouldn’t worry about the money? And what do u think my chances of getting in are?
4,5,6 what? @IHaveAHarvOn
You will need to provide detailed information about your and your parents’ finances. IF the school determines that you have need you may receive it. Harvard, Yale and Princeton are the most generous and the most difficult to get in to. Admission is based on way more than GPA and test scores as I hope you are aware.
yeah i know, i was just wondering whether or not my scores should be a problem? @TomSrOfBoston
care to explain? @IHaveAHarvOn
Your odds are about 3 to 5%. That’s how competitive it is.
If your family makes under 75K you’ll get close to a full ride.
Really?! 5% thats insane :((
Well, depending where you’re from it could be 2% .

That is why they are elite. they accept a tiny percentage of their applicants. If they accepted 30% they would not be elite and exclusionary.
