What are my chances to of getting into NYU Tandon?

I applied regular decision of this year and I’m trying to figure out my chances before I become too set on Tandon.
STATS:
My gpa was a 3.3. Junior year was a 92 (3.9) My senior gpa is a 93(4.0) I screwed up freshman and sophomore year.
I got a 1010 on the SATs
I participate in many extra curriculars (about 10)
English as a new language club ( help kids learn English)
President of a peer mentoring club
Peer tutor
Voulenteer a LOT
played violin for 10 years etc.
I am also a girl idk if that would help too since Tandon is trying to accept more females to become more diverse.

How many AP’s do you take?
Do you have any STEM extracurriculars? Are you president of any of these clubs? Do you do any sort of research?
Did you take any subject tests? What was your math score on the SAT?
From what I see your SAT is way too low, and it doesn’t look like you have any major STEM activities or accomplishments, so you may not be a good fit for the school.

Don’t become set on any college until 1) you get in and 2) you know it is affordable.

@BrendanR12345 I took 5 APs
No stem extra curriculars because my school didn’t offer them
No subject test
I am president of one of these clubs and I am a board member on another and just members in the rest
My SAT for math section was 520
I did really bad on the SATs due to poor school curriculum as well as not having access to electronics and money means to buy books. Do you think they will take that into account

@happy1 Thanks, great advice

Are you first gen/urm/heop? From some past posts it seems they do take SES into account and lower SATs get admits but still, that is a very low SAT and math score for engineering. Don’t know Tandon specifically but for NYU overall 25th percentile is 1350 SAT and 670 math.

@SJ2727 I applied for HEOP and haven’t heard anything yet but yes I am a urm.

Ok that will help, although tbh I still think it’s going to be a reach. At some point understanding circumstances has to also consider that the math etc background just might not be enough for success at the school. I have no way of knowing where on that continuum you will fall. Good luck.

@SJ2727 Thank you
