if i send my application early, does the chance of me being accepted increase?

how can I make my Essay stand out?

be as specific as possible

thanks

Did you take the TOEFL or anything? That 490 stands out pretty big and I think it could hurt you significantly.

First, being a Asian is not going to help. Second, being an Asian that has high Math scores and low English scores is not going to help. No Varsity athletics may hurt your EC's too.

I'd say UW is going to be difficult, but it would help a lot if you brought up your English scores.

I second: have you taken TOEFL?

I think that a 490 might be explainable considering your newness to the country and the fact that you got a B- in Honors English.

U of Washington doesn't care about your SAT II scores, unfortunately.

I think your SAT scores are a bit too low, but you have a decent shot.
