I got a 27 on the ACT (29-English, 27-Math, 27-Reading, 23-Science) and a 1,840 on the SAT (630-Reading, 620-Math, 590-Writing, Essay Score-8). My weighted GPA is 4.33 and unweighted is 3.8. My extracurriculars include soccer, community service, and being involved in a camp.

What are my chances??

I WILL CHANCE BACK! POST THE LINK

UCI: High Match but will depend upon your major. A STEM major may be Low Reach (especially CS/Engineering).

You would have to know your UC GPA…Since you say your uncapped GPA is 4.33 and your unweighted is 3.8, I would estimate your UC GPA is around 4.15ish

I would say both schools would be high matches for you.

@gumbymom @kreig01
My major would be Quantitative Economics or Joint Mathematics/Economics

I think you definitely have a chance at UCSB; if you search up their averages on their website, your stats are just above their average. I would definitely apply there if I was you. However, it does look like they’re trying to become more selective as shown by the Fall 2014 acceptance rate compared to its previous years. If you really want to have an even more solid chance, then I would list some leadership activities on your app if you have any. ALL UC’s LOVE LEADERSHIP POSITIONS!! Remember that, it is what will separate you from others who posses similar stats to yours. It could even make you look more impressive than someone who may have better stats than you, but didn’t have any leadership roles.

@fatimakhan Thank you so much!!
