I applied to UMass Amherst as a transfer back in January, and they sent a letter back saying they needed to see my midterm grades. I am currently a second semester freshman.

For the Fall 2011 semester at my current college, I had a 3.8 (A, A, A-, A-, A-).

Unfortunately, my midterm grades are a bit different (A, A, A-, A-, C+).

The C+ is based on one test; these are, of course, grades based on only a few things I've done in my classes.

Do you think I still have a decent chance of getting in? I still have a 3.5, but the C+ is just ugly on the grade report.
