Major: Biology

P.S. I understand my ACT is pretty low ( Disgraced my family lol). I am planning to take my subject 2 tests. Anything I can do to increase my chances? I also understand my credentials arent the best but please try and give some helpful insight.

Retake the ACT, bring that score up

Retake act try to score 32+ and score 750+ sat 2 and make sure Ur essays are great and describe Ur injury and how it affected u and u should be fine

Also try to get awards from mu alpha thetha and science Olympiad

Your GPA is right at the average for UMich admission last yet, but you need to bring your ACT score up to over 30 (mid 50% 29-33) to make you high match. Others would be reach to high reach for you.

You should get those scores up… especially if you want to go to an Ivy school.

june 8th is redemption day

I would be very careful how you emply the “gruesome” aspects of the injury story. Definitely fine to explain how the injury (and recovery) might have negatively impacted your GPA at the time, but a gruesome injury is not a “hook.”

No no you got it wrong. My injury is what caused me to want to do better in school.

Either way, I think the theme is too formulaic and predictable to make a good essay.
