What are my chances? *updated*

Heya

I’m a rising senior and want to know my chances of getting into ASU, UC Berkeley, NYU, Oregon State, SeattleU, John Hopkins, and Sarah Lawrence. My intended major is psychology.

I’m mixed female who lives in California.

My current cumulative GPA is a 3.67 (UW) and 3.77 (W)

Test Score:
ACT - 21
AP English Language Composition - 3

I am a mostly A and B student, I had straight As this past semester.

Extracurriculars:
Colorguard (sophomore, junior, senior year. I am currently technically one of the captains of the colorguard)
Poetry club (junior, senior year, co-founder and co-president)

Extracurriculars outside of school:
Teen event planner at an art gallery
Social Media Manager and Strategist at RetroBlades, a vintage shop
Volunteer every year at the walk to end genocide

I haven’t taken any classes for psych yet but I’m taking AP Stats and AP Psych next year.

I’m black, cuban, Vietnamese, and Native American

UCB Freshman profile::

25th and 75th percentile
High School GPA: 4.12 - 4.30
ACT Composite Score: 30-34

URM ethnicity/race not considered in UC admissions.

Not sure why you are targeting UCB as your only California school-definitely a High Reach.

UCR/UCM and may be UCSC would be more in your range along with the many good Cal states.

Girl, you have to get that ACT score higher. It’s really…really going to hurt you if you don’t.

UC Berkeley, JHU, and NYU seem out of reach, but if you really wanted to go, I strongly urge you to retake the ACT in September. I agree with @Gumbymom, go for UCR and UCM and the CSUs for cali schools. Otherwise, there’s not really more I can give you.

Hope this helped and best of luck!
