WHAT ARE MY CHANCES...whew

basically just a repost:
Hello there, my name is Christian. I’m a junior, who is lost in the college search. I really want to attend a decent university, preferably an Ivy League, however I am unaware of my chances. So I have a few questions and some information for you to help me if you want (it would be greatly appreciated)

Are there any Ivy League’s at all that do not allow any SAT II’s (you can get in with only an SAT I and ACT score)?

Besides that, let me tell you about myself. I go to a difficult college prep. school in minnesota, my GPA is around a 3.75 with many honors classes, that being physics, chemistry, biology, and AP spanish and statistics. I am involved in a ton of extracarrics. The most important is TAP DANCING, i have won hundreds of national awards with scholarships, national recognition, perfomances for the president and appearances on television. Also I do musical theater, in which i have starred in multiple school and comunity theater productions. I am a member of the International Thespian Society as well. Choir/ is also a great part of my life, band from 5-10th grade, concert choir, chamber choir, men’s chorale, men’s quintet (top 5 male singers in the school). I am also involved in speech which i recieved 2nd in state for humorous interpretation in 2006. I play soccer, on varsity since 9th grade, conference champ, honorablemention 2006, captain 2007. Basketball and baseball as well, “Panther awards.” I am also involved in Gay/Straight Alliance, SADD, Peer Leadership and Habitat for Humanity at my school and tutoring in spanish. In addition to this I teach tap dancing and dance professionally.

So with all of that, and say i manage to get somewhere from a 1900-2000 on my New SAT, and at least a 30 on my ACT…WHAT ARE MY CHANCES?

Also how is it best to go about “selling myself” to an Ivy League School?

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL YOUR HELP, i am so lost right now and really appreciate the help!

Hm.. I'd aim for a 2100+ at least. You're EC's with the tap dancing seem amazing. :) I'd aim as high as possible. Maybe you can get yourself in with excellent showing of your passion for dancing. You're GPA is stable. So i'd say get those SAT's as high as possible :).

Selling yourself. Just remember: All colleges want future leaders. Show them what you can be.

It's relly hard to get into the Ivies with an SAT below 2000. It has been done but many more such students are rejected. You llok to have very good ECs. That will help alot.

Well you're saying if I "manage" to get a 1900-2000 on my SAT, which tells me that you're unsure if you'll be able to attain that score. 2100 is the bare minimum and even that won't cut it. While EC's are certainly very important, they don't make up for low SAT scores. I know people who scored 2340 on their SAT, along with great EC's who was rejected from every single ivy. He's going to Northwestern, which is a great school. I suggest you seriously consider other options. I'm not trying to be a downer, but you should definitely apply to some safeties.
