What are my chances with DAAP?

Congrats Peter M. DAAP, especially for architecture, is one of the hardest schools for design for admission in the US. Thus, double congrats.

Peter M. - I'll see ya there! I was accepted into DAAP Architecture as well - they cut the numbers this year and are only taking 40 new arch. students!

Great! Concgrats to all which are accepted and even more to those who are going there. Now, does anyone know how and when we find out how much we got from the cincinnatus competition?

Congrats Grouplegurl. Do you know why they are only taking 40 this year?

taxguy - I assume it's because of either space reasons (they can't fit us all into studios perhaps? - last time I was there they had one or two closed to students to set up their accredidation presentations) or money issues. Even though UC has one of the largest endowments, perhaps they just can't afford a higher number of students. Or, perhaps it is just to add more prestige to the program since they only accept 40. In any matter, I'm not exactly positive why they did.

I really need to change my username.... I made this account forever ago and the name sucks. :(

hope you got in, Peter. (Oh…I see now that you DID!!! CONGRATS)
our duaghter got into Architecture… with 1400 math/verbal SAT, ranked #1 in her class…4.2 GPA (4.0 unweighted).
I DO think the AP classes help a bit…the office of admissions said they do look at the rigor of the program…somewhat… :)

Look for a blonde named “Julie” in your freshman architecture class. our daughter will be there too…right with you and Groupie Girl! :)

My name is Kristen, by the way. haha.
