What are my chances with the ECs I have?

South Indian Classical Music- We do international competitions and shows, we have been aired on intl tv, and we do MAJOR perfomances and productions. I have won awards in it as well
Piano- I am part of the international guild, and have won awards in that as well, I got selected to play at the US Beacon Artist international competition and showcase, and by college apps, I will be on the national honor roll. (US Beacon Artist is like THE international competition)
Tennis- I also play competitive tennis! I m going to be on Varsity this year in high school, and I have almost made it to being top 200 in my state, California
Guitar- I do a lot of concerts
Hospital Volunteer- I am in charge of patient information, and I get to interact with them and be with them and get the medical experience
Kumon Tutor- I teach young children math and English
American Red Cross- I am a BAT (Basic Aid Training) instructor, and I am about to be on the Youth Leadership Advisory Board of my chapter:)
National Congressional Award - I am going for my silver medal and my gold medal and I should be done by the beginning of senior year or the end of my junior year

In addition to this, I am starting a nonprofit organization with my uncle in India! I am also in touch with 2 Stanford researchers because I am going to do a science research project in Genetics for the Siemens competition. This year in school, I have gathered a few friends and am starting a Future Physicians of America club in my school. I will also be doing the Biology Olympiad in school this year.

I will be in Science Competition club, HOSA, and a couple of others.

My GPA throughout middle school has been a 4.0. I have also taken the English and math sections of the SAT. I got a 760 in English and a 750 in math. I know they need to improve a lot more, but for someone who just finished 8th grade, I am kind of proud of myself

Colleges don’t care about middle school grades.

I know, but I am asking about my extracurriculars not my grades. Can you give me any feedback on those please? If you have any. Thank you  @NASA2014

Those were all Middle School extracurriculars. They carry no weight in college admissions, unless you have won something very very big, like the Scripps National Spelling Bee, and even then, I don’t know how big of a boost that would be.

Come back when you have High School extracurriculars that you have actually participated in.

But everything is carrying over…I am doing the same things and am part of the same competitions and extracurriculars. @PartyNextDoor

In my most recent student’s class, there were maybe 20 students with all A’s in 8th grade. After 9th grade that went to 4.

Thanks for your feedback. I have very lofty goals for myself career wise and I am looking for someone who can give me the kind of advice I am looking for. That is someone who can tell me what kind of programs, extracurriculars, research and internship opportunities etc etc. @JustOneDad

Lofty goals are good.

Do you have any advice on who I should approach to talk about these kinds of things? @JustOneDad Thank you again!

You are a rising 9th grader. Step away from the computer and have fun during HS. If that’s doing those ECs then fine. Get out of the college mind set for now.

Find an investor to fund your research and pay for your college haha. Wait a few years and enjoy some part of your childhood before you have to return back to this site haha.

haha alright @atcmainz
