could you guys please help me in knowing wht are my chances of getting into these universities!!
i have a high gpa, community service internship as well as some extra curricular actives!!

Thank You!!

please state ur gpa?

the word high is entirely subjective… =/

also list ur extra currs?

based on your sat scores alone CMU is a reach, UMICH is also a reach at this point since they’ve filled up most of their class with rolling admission, georgia tech = high match/low reach, my friend got in with a 1980 but he had really good EC’s and a 3.8 GPA

and i have no idea about UIUC =/

my gpa is 3.8.
and regarding the EC’s im a sports person.i have taken part in various events in school as well as state level. I have taken part in interschool young leadership contest.
I have also participated in essay writing competitions.
Community work:
worked for an organisation that helps provide education to the poor, upliftment of the tribal people.I have been a part of their camp for about 15 days and helped in imparting knowledge to the tribals in a small village regarding sanitary methods.
I also was part of a camp whish was held to rescue the people who were severely affected in the recent floods in the state.
Internship:
I have observed the process of conveyor belts in a small engineering firm. I also prepared a report on its working.

so are u saying that Michigan is very tough to get into?

I would like someone to give me more information about georgia tech and UIUC??

Those would be my scores if I didn’t study lol.
