What are my chances?

Hello,
Im young. Im only a freshman, but I dont want to wait till the last minute to start getting information about my future.

What are my chances of getting into the Naval Academy or any military academy?

Im in all standard class at the moment and taking business elective class. My grades are steady As and Bs

I have been in the US Naval Sea Cadet Corps for three years now. I am currently an E-5, and Leading Petty Officer for my home unit.

I am apart of many clubs, groups, and extra curriculum activities, as well as sports. I played two years of jv basketball (this season was my last), I was for the counties local swim team for eight years and may start swimming for the high school next season, I played one year of jv volleyball as an eighth grader and played my freshman year on the varsity volleyball team, and this is my first season for high school track (I run sprints).

I would every much appreciate your input

Thank You :)
(p.s. sorry if the spelling is bad)

Hayes13, it’s a good time to start your research. You need to be an excellent HS student first and foremost…your class rank and course work has to near or at the top. Take AP courses in Science and Math and ace them. Take the PSAT and SATs and score very high. Sports and physical fitness in general are very important. Leadership experience will be key. Your goal should be to become a team captain. If you’re in a Church group, Sea Cadets or active in a school club you need to be able to demonstrate what you did to lead these organizations. Finally go to your local College night - as a sopomore - and meet your Blue and Gold Officer (BGO). Better yet find out who that person is in your area and send an introductory email expressing your interest. Get to know your BGO. And even after you do all the above you’ll be competing with a very qualified set of candidates. Good luck.
