I'm really interested in going to Tufts and I was wondering what my chances are. I scored a 195 on my psat and my prospective act score according to the plan is a 29-33. I have a 3.97 unweighted gpa and a 4.02 gpa weighted so far. I've taken honors english I and II, spanish II and III, biology, chemistry, and A.P. U.S. history. I'm not in honors math but I'm a year ahead in regular math. Next year I'm taking precalc, spanish IV, ap bio, ap english, ap european history, and global politics, which is dual enrollment with a nearby college. I'm involved with theatre and do about 3 to 4 shows a year and I usually get parts. I'm in youth orchestra, take private viola lessons, am assistant principal viola of my high school orchstra. I'm an officer for my school's charity club, am on the literary magazine staff, and I volunteer regualarly at the local library. This summer I'm spending 3 weeks taking a course at the University of Chicago and my sister and I run a nationally recognized charity. I was wondering what my chances are on being admitted?

Definitely apply. I’m not really good with judging chances, but “high match/low reach” is where I would put it for you. Make sure your essays stand out.

The fact that you and your sister run a nationally recognized charity is amazing! You should study more for your SAT, but you have an excellent chance of getting admitted.
