Chances for Tufts?

<p>Hi,
I just recently found out about Tufts and I still don't have a really good feel for how competitive I would be for admissions.</p>

<p>White female, middle class family, public school</p>

<p>RD, Intended major: International Relations</p>

<p>GPA: 3.96, All IB classes every year
Rank: 12/609 weighted, 23/609 unweighted
SAT: 2160, R-720, M-690 (W-750)
SAT IIs: Lit-720, Spanish-680 (am retaking because I speak Spanish really well) and taking Math and Spanish again in December</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
Choir, 9-12
Piano, 9-12
Acting in Musicals, 10-12
Recreational Basketball, 9-12
Recreational Soccer, 9-12
Founded and Co-President of Candlelighters' First Guild that puts on events for children with cancer and their families
Vice-President of Earth Corps
Key Club, 10-12
Spanish Club, 10-12
Honor Society, 10-12
Spend 5 hours a week teaching Spanish to elementary school children
Exchange student for 2 months this summer to Spain</p>

<p>Write a good essay and tell your story of undying devotion to the university and things will look pretty good.</p>

<p>If your essays and recommendations follow the pattern presented, I think your chances will be fine.</p>

<p>ok thanks for the advice. i'm having problems with coming up with the right topic for my common app essay!!! but hopefully something will come.</p>
