(Personal)
In my free time I'm a volunteer at my local hospital working in the pediatric unit of the ER. I work 1 on 1 with patients and families to help alleviate the stress, make them more comfortable, and interact so kids know their treatments aren't stressful.

Now that I'm older and a more experienced pianist after 11 years I've decided I don't want to give up on music so I've started a program with a friend. We'll be visiting assisted living homes to play and entertain the elderly with live music. Research shows that music therapy and interaction with music helps slow down memory loss, can be mused for emotional therapy and gives the elderly someone to talk to.
Lastly I am a volunteer at the hospital for the pediatric emergency department in my spare time. In my free time I play piano to relax and write songs, being that it's my 11th year of piano.

I'm only a junior right now and I haven't taken SAT scores yet. I know my PSAT scores aren't exception and I'm continuing to study as best as I can. Is there any advice or feedback for applying to colleges this fall? Anything else to take into consideration? I'm continuing to take a rigorous course load senior year with IB English, History, Bio, Physics, TOK. With AP Calc BC and AP CHem. My dream is to attend Columbia since I've always been a city person, and would love the opportunity to attend.

My colleges are from highest priority to safety: What are my chances?
Columbia University
Stanford University
Vassar College
Pomona College
University of Chicago
University of North Carolina: Chapel Hill
University of Arizona

Columbia and Stanford are reaches just because Columbia’s an Ivy and Stanford is Stanford. ASU definitely, and all the other colleges seem like matches! I heard Vassar is looking for more male applicants…?

I could really use the feedback…

Can someone please chance me?
