The grades for my first and second semester freshman year have already occurred, and I successfully passed the year with straight A's. The Freshman Summer and Sophmore year and grades are only predictions (though I have already been in enrolled in the two summer things, I haven't completed or even started my sophomore year, however, these were the classes my councilor and I discussed). I'm not quite sure what my EC's are, but I do have a history of honor chorus and theater and plan on auditioning for the school play and for chamber (honors chorus) next year. I also am planning on playing a sport (either Swim Team, Cross Country/Track, Tennis, or Basketball). I am a left handed, vegetarian, Hung-Bajan (my father is Hungarian, my mother Barbadian, and am considered 'black'/'mixed'). My mom is a single mother, and I really want to get into a great school like Dartmouth or Yale or Barnard or Bennington, or Harvard. I am not currently sure what I want to major in, or where I want to go, but I'm wondering what my chances will be to get into a college of such stature and if I will get adequate scholarships (like 20-30 grand a year) to pay for it.
