I would say Scripps would be a Reach just based on your GPA and test scores. What is your unweighted GPA?
Your Weighted GPA is below average and your test scores are around the 25th percentile. Since Scripps is very holistic in their application review, your EC’s/essays and LOR’s could definitely help your chances.

Good Luck.

Thank you!

My unweighted GPA is a 3.6-3.7

My essays in my opinion are very good and well written. (Not trying to sound cocky. I’ve just had a lot of people help me out)

I think you have a very good chance for Scripps.

From Scripps common dataset:

Unweighted GPA:
Percent who had GPA of 3.75 and higher: 80%
Percent who had GPA between 3.50 and 3.74: 11%

25th/75th percentile for SAT: 1940/2180
25th/75th percentile for ACT: 29/32

@Gumbymom Thank you for the statistics!

@preppedparent thank you!
