Hi, great job with your GPA and class rank! Your extracurriculars were pretty great, I liked that some had to do with political science and law-- it’s important to have something that shows your interest in your major. Your ACT score may be a little low for your reaches, but I personally believe (and others would disagree) that standardized test scores don’t mean a lot unless they are super low. I am also an incoming senior as well so who knows if you should trust my opinion, but I have been doing quite a bit of research myself.
Have you looked at Babson or Brandeis? Babson has interesting concentrations you might be interested in such as Justice, Citizenship, and Social Responsibility or Historical and Political Studies and Brandeis might seem like something you would be interested in based off of what I know about you (which isn’t much lol). I have categorized schools based on the likelihood of acceptance based on average ACT and GPA from my school (my guidance department publishes all the scores and grades of people and shows who have been accepted, rejected, waitlisted etc.) Have a lovely day and please don’t let anything I have written deter you from applying to your dream school! Happy hunting
You will get in: Fordham, Syracuse, American, Fairfield, Northeastern
Good shot: NYU, Colgate, Boston College, Loyola
Reach but possible: Tufts, Notre Dame
Unlikely: Georgetown, UChicago
You look like a great candidate for Holy Cross. They care about demonstrated interest.
