What are my chances+?

These are the schools i am applying to:
Vassar
Skidmore
Bucknell
Washington University in St. Louis
University of Vermont
maybe Muhlenberg
Clark

What are my chances at getting into each of these schools? I would appreciate percents rather than adjectives like good or bad, but those are still welcome.
Other suggestions (different schools) are more than welcome, they are encouraged.

These are my stats:

Math: 800
Verbal: 680

GPA: 3.2
Class rank not given by my school

MathIIC: 690
Writing: 660
Will probably take Spanish (have to have 3 for Vassar)

Including this year, I have taken 3 years of German, 4 years in Spanish to Spanish 5 (3 years of honors), 4 years in English (3 years honor) , Math up to calc ab ap (the rest honors courses), also statistics ap, 4 years history (2 aps), 3 years of science, 4 years Art

Junior year was my worst. This year i am taking less honors courses and getting better grades.

Extracurricular Activities: I will have an art portfolio (good pieces, not superb for the most part, and mostly not finished looking, but certainly telling of talent); i play chess madly outside of school, not in the school club, but play in tournaments outside school and am starting lessons; i play electric guitar

bump bump bump bump

o and i playeed soccer in ninth and tenth grade in case it counts. also tried mock trial last year and was in youth and government in ninth grade. i doubt those will make my applications but uh hey, maybe they will.

I would say that your SAT I scores are not bad for any of those choices, but your SAT II and GPA might lower your chances a bit. A 3.2 doesn't sit well...and a bad junior year is disappointing.

I'm not too familiar with the others, but I'd say you have a low chance aof getting into Wash. U.

thx. i know WashU would be a reach. do i have a shot? 10%, 5%, 25%? do sat iis matter that much? i could probably study for the math iic and get like a 750 and maybe a 700 on the writing.

I think you have axcellent shot at all including WashU.

i know u said all, and that tends to include everything. However, i have to question that with regards to Vassar. Do i really have an excellent shot there? I mean, I'm a marksman, mark my word, but I'm no Robin Hood.

One other question: Would University of Vermont qualify as a safety?

WashU is a long shot...maybe 5-10% chance. Vassar is 10-15%. Bucknell is about 20-25%. Skidmore is 60-75%. Clark is at about 70-75%. Muhlenburg about 75-80%. And, UVM is about 75-85%.

just, could u be a bit more specific? those numbers are sort of meaningless with broad ranges like that. No, seriously, that was an awesome response, specifically for its specificity.

If i applied ED to Skidmore would my chances greatly increase? Same question for Vassar and Bucknell.

Your only issue is a slightly low GPA. This will matter less if you're at a very competitive high school. Otherwise, I've seen kids with these stats, with your kind of wide ranging interests (art and chess), get into all of these schools. I see Vermont, Skidmore and Muhlenberg as safties. Vassar a slight reach and only Washington a reach. But they love high SAT scores. Don't know enough to comment on other schools.

ED would help you most at Vassar and Skidmore, as they have more women than men...about 60% w/40% m. It will help at Bucknell too, though.

I'd ED I at Vassar (If it is your first choice), then decide (after hearing from Vassar) which one of the other two to apply to ED II, if you like.

WashU is stats driven, hence the low %.
Vassar is a bit concerned with gpa, although ED would make it more like 40-50%.
Bucknell is more stats driven, ED would move it to 40-50% range.
Skidmore stats and yours are a good match.
Clark is almost a safety for you.
Muhlenburg would be a safety.
UVM wants more out-of-state students, and you profile is towards the 75%ile.

Hope this helps.

how much greater a chance (in your estimations) will a nov. 15 ED give me over a jan. 1 ED? will a jan. 1 ED give me any edge? ( i would prefer to go to vassar than skidmore, and they require 3 satiis which i do not have.)
