what are my chances?

<p>Hey, I'm just wondering what some people think my chances are of getting into Northeastern.</p>

<ul>
<li>go to a small school in CT, only about 450 students
-My GPA is about a 3.4
-top 25% of my class
-took 3 AP classes during High school (AP US History, AP english comp and AP Lit) and a bunch of honors classes.</li>
</ul>

<p>I plan on majoring in Journalism.</p>

<p>SAT SCORES:</p>

<p>verbal: 610
Math: 580
Writing: 640</p>

<p>varsity basketball -10,11,12
varsity tennis -11,12
varsity cross country -10</p>

<p>I also started an ultimate frisbee team at my school.</p>

<p>-Was on Athletic Council 10,11,12 as well as a few other clubs
-was the Music editor for my schools Newspaper.
-have done a lot of volunteer work, most recently I volunteered at a nursing home and church
-am active in my town's Parks and Rec.
-Have had a job at a summer camp throughout high school, and am variety of other jobs as well</p>

<p>So any feedback on what you guys think my chances are would help a lot.. thanks</p>

<p>You mean EA? I have almost the exact same stats and I also applied EA. </p>

<p>It looks like you have a decent chance. I think it will really come down to your essay and recommendations.</p>

<p>You appear to have a good chance of acceptance.</p>

<p>I suggest visiting the school, talking to advisors, faculty, students, etc. </p>

<p>Apply early for sure, and don't be afraid of making your presence known.</p>
