what are my chances?

I have always dreamed of going to either Princeton or Wharton, and now as a high school junior i think its time to figure out if my expectations are realistic
everytime i ask my guidance counselor at school all i get is: you're credentials are great, why not try? but that is not sufficient enough.

i know i dont have much information about myself but heres my stats so far:

my practice sat scores are always around high 1900s-low 2000s, but i have yet to get tutored before the march SAT.
i take all the highest classes offered at my school, including 8 AP's by the end of my senior year.
my gpa is a 4.24 (weighted) out of 4.0 (rank 36 out of 422 so top 10%)
my extracurriculars are pretty good, im active in various clubs and organizations, and im very active in a community organization. i ran, directed, and hosted an internationally shown fashion show with an attendance of about 5000 people as a junior. ive been a deca member for 2 years, and won 1st place and 2nd place at regionals for 2 different years and made it to finals for states (this year's state competition hasnt yet happened). i am a member of NHS and mu alpha theta, along with science league. in addition, im a state finalist for the Miss New Jersey pageant, and 1st runner up for a tri-state pageant. Im a very versatile person; my activities have a wide range, and im very outgoing and social. i played jv soccer and basketball for my school freshman year and then had to stop last year because of an injury.
and i sing.

i feel like my credentials are good, but not good enough, because i hear of even valedictorians getting cut off...
someone please give me an opinion. be harsh if you need to!

bare minimum wharton:

2200 SAT(750+ Math)
800 Math II and some other SAT2 over 750
Top 10% and having taken calculus
Demonstrated leadership abilities

you are definately qualified, but nobody is a guarantee. I know i sound generic saying that, but i can tell you first hand.

Wharton was my dream school. I applied ED, and i thought i was fairly qualified. I was ranked 1/881, i scored a 2110 on my sat, i started and currently operate a lucrative business, i'll graduate with 8 varsity letters, i have work experiance, an intership, and i came in first place in my state wide fbla competition two years in a row (for two different events). I am also a volunteer fire fighter. When the decisions came out i felt fairly confident, i wasn't expecting anything less than a deferral - and i got rejected.

It was pretty upsetting at first, but i learned to get over it and find new schools to be excited about. I am currently waiting to hear back from them.

You have just as good a shot as anyone, but nothing is a guarantee

thanks a bunch that helps, so basically i see it as a game of chance for wharton, because it is so highly competetive that even people with a great resume like yours got rejected. but what about princeton? do i have a fair chance there?

looks like you are on the right track but that is the easy part
