<p>Hard to say. Your ECs, grades, and class rank are good, but your SAT score could really hurt you. Also, did you take any SAT IIs?</p>

<p>i got into UCSD out of state with a 1790 SAT I, 4.23 GPA and alot of ec's...i think you have a chance...</p>

<p>everything is really impressive except for your SAT's.
they're kind of low, i mean it doesn't match up with you being in NHS and class rank, maybe UCSD will assume your school has severe grade inflation. you should especially focus on bringing up your reading score, it should be at least in the 600's.</p>

<p>Northeast US has tons of good schools, why go all the way to the West when good schools are right in your backyard?</p>

<p>he's looking at mostly east coast schools based on his postings ... which are identical to this one, at a bunch of schools. my guess is that someone looked up rankings of top schools in USNWR and started copying and pasting.</p>
