What Are My Chances!?

I'm a second-year honors student at a large state university looking to transfer for Fall 2009. What are my chances at Pomona College, Occidental College, Case Western Reserve University, and Carnegie Mellon University?

College GPA: 4.00 (49 credit hours over 3 semesters, including 6 honors classes)
College Major: Biology (pre-medical)
College Activities: Volunteer at university's affiliated medical center, sports training program, blood drives, intramural basketball, Alpha Kappa Psi, university's honors program

Other activities: Preceptorship with a physician, intern at local film festival, acceptance into UVA Summer Medical and Dental Education Program (2009)

Also of interest: I am being recruited by each school to play varsity men's basketball, and each coach is going to "support" my application

High School GPA: 3.95 W, 3.7 UW
SAT: 2060 (660/760/640)
ACT: 30

So what do you think?

Athlete, great HS & college GPA, solid SAT, good ECs… I’d say you have really good shot at all the schools. Pomona’s acceptance rates are really low though

I agree. Outstanding chances, and a solid pick of schools there to match your interests.

Thanks for the input so far. Anyone else?

Don’t go. stay in college.

lce: umm… what are you talking about?

You’ll get into Case Western. I currently attend there (I got in when I applied as a high school senior with a 3.2 HS GPA) and I’m transferring out :open_mouth: Why did you pick Case?
