<p>Hi. I am a senior in high school now and I have been considering applying early decision to Penn but I feel as though it might be a long shot. Here are my stats</p>

<ul>
<li>I am sixth in my class of 330</li>
<li>AP classes: chem(junior year-got a 3), US Hist(soph- got a 4) Euro hist(junior- got a 3) English lang and comp(junior- got a 4) ; senior year APs- calc, stat, english lit and comp, spanish, environmental science, college sociology</li>
<li>SAT - Critical Reading-690
Math- 710
Writing- 680</li>
<li>SAT IIs- US Hist- 680 .... going to take three more in October and might possibly be taking ACTs in September</li>
</ul>

<p>Activities
-have played varsity basketball and lacrosse since my freshman year
- captain of basketball junior and senior year
- mock trial since freshman year (best witness junior year)
- national toshiba exploravision honorable mention award
- national honor society vice president
- leadership club
- female leader for athletic society at my high school
- community service corps since freshman year
- ambassadors club since freshman year
- mathletes senior year
- part time job at Brothers Pizza - over the summer work about 25-35 hours a week; fall -15 hours a week; spring and winter - 5-10 hours a week
- tutor immigrant Mexicans at my work in English once a week after work</p>

<p>Your rank is good, and you have nice ECs, but your SATs and AP scores will keep you in their reject pile. Take a look at Penn’s average scores. Yours is a long shot.</p>
