I applied ED and I am very nervous. i just started googling the words "will i get into cornell " haha. Any thoughts from prospective students, current students, or alumni would be greatly appreciated.

Is AP Chem the only AP you took?
You have a decent chance as long as you show enough fit - you don’t have many ECs relating to bio.

I think you have a excellent shot… in fact, with ED, I think you’re a lock!

yeah i recognize the EC issue. I tried to related my essays to my love of the sciences. Im from a small town in NY with few opportunities. we have no other ap classes. i would have loved to take ap bio but its not offered.

thanks for the responses guys

your stats are pretty solid
did you take any SAT II’s?

CALS only reccommends SAT IIs. Its the only school at cornell that doesnt require them. i was hoping cornell would consider my ap score as equivalent to an SAT II. but i dont know. i hope it wont count against me to much

if the school doesn’t require SAT II’s it probably shouldn’t hurt you that much, as long as your AP exam grades are good.

wow your GPA’s 99.72? does that mean you got 100 on almost every course?? so impressive!
by the way, hope you got in!
