What are my NMSF chances in Ohio...?

Hello! This is my first post. (aside from the fact that I posted this exact question in anther topic, still learning :))

I am in the class of 2014 and received a score of 212 on the PSAT that I took in the fall of 2013. I live in Ohio and know that the cutoff for the 2013 class was 212 but that for the 2012 class was 214. In previous years, however, it has always been 211 or less.

Can someone predict the cutoff for Ohio?

Another question: is the cutoff score inclusive? (ie, if cutoff is 200 does that mean students who score 200 are also NMSFs?)

Yes, the cutoff score is inclusive. If you live in a state whose cutoff is - say 210 - and you have a 210, then you made it.

The only prediction anyone can make is that this year’s cutoff will be “around” the same as recent cutoffs for that state. And that doesn’t help you any, since your score is right at the level of recent cutoffs. You’ll just have to wait until the semi-finalists/scores are made public in late Aug/early Sept. Good luck!

I’m in the same boat as you pretty much, a 213 in Ohio. It’s definitely a little nerve wracking. I’ve got my fingers crossed for us!
