I'm looking to take 1-2 easy classes that you can pretty much get an A in. Not sure what my gpa will be after this semester, but I kinda want to bring it up lol.

Do you guys have any recommendations? I'm in LandS, majoring in MCB. I'm finishing the AC requirement this semester, and it also fulfills the social and behavioral breadth. Obviously, i have classes for the biological and physical breadths. Any recommendations for the other breadths? like art and literature, philosophy, etc.

Also, my telebears appointment for phase 1 is during my chemistry lab, so obviously I won't be able to do it then. Do i have to sign up for classes directly at that time? or do i get the whole day or something? how does it work?

tell your GSI the week before that you’ll need to step out for a few minutes to do your telebears. just make sure to plan your lab tasks such that nothing needs your attention at that time (letting a solution sit to recrystallize is an excellent example of this).

you have 24 hours to do your telebears, plus open hours afterwards, but classes fill up really quickly, so you want to sign up ASAP. especially since you’re going for chem 3b/3bl. you’ll want to get yourself as high up on the waitlist as possible.

i hope this is not a stupid question…but im an incoming freshman, and i was wondering, for the 7 breadth course you take…it can be ANY classes that they provide on the list right? meaning, it does not have to relate to your intended major in college of letters and science

regarding post#12: psych 2 is designed for juniors and seniors because it is designed for students not intending to declare psych (it is generally too late by then since it is capped). if you think you might ever consider psych, take psych 1 instead of 2 since it covers pretty much the exact same content. if you take psych 2 as a frosh and only then realize you might want to be a psych major, just be warned you will have to take 1 too.

^ idk, but either way i’ll never get to take that class. i’m on a pretty tight sched so all the classes i take have to work toward my majors.

@UC123, u got it. @ insertname, i know you got the phys breadth down, but astro C10 is pretty chill / interesting / doesn’t take up too too much time. maybe you’d want to check it out for a quick A to bump the GPA.
