<p>doesn't FSU have a really good music program? I'm pretty sure that that's the best one in florida</p>
<p>It depends on what type of music you want to play.</p>
<p>FSU has the best overall music program in Florida, it also well known throughout the country.
UNF has one of the best jazz programs in the US.
USF also has a relativly good music and jazz programs.</p>
<p>University of Miami has a good program that covers the business, educational, and technical aspects of the music industry. I am not sure about the music performance program.</p>
<p>Frost School of Music at UMiami is a very good school for performance. they have a great jazz program too. when i spoke to some teachers and fellow music students we ranked it a little below carnegie mellon's music school, which is very good.</p>
<p>but i was thinking of going more into the music education area, im guesing all these schools mentioned must have good have good music edu. courses aswell.</p>
