What are some good safety schools for me!!!

I am a white male from southern california. Here are my stats!
3.3 unweighted GPA
full ap/ib schedule
2090 SAT (720cr, 650 math, 720 writing)
3 years basketball
2 years asb leadership (asb secretary senior year)
Boys State California 2008 Delegate
many other ecs

I would like to know based on some of this information what are good SAFETY SCHOOLS for me. I want to major in econ and then possibly biz management.

I really am having a hard time picking schools to start applications. Thank you so much for your help

Depends on what type of school environment you're most comfortable with (ie school size, regional preferences).

Possible safety schools with good economics undergraduate programs (assuming that your weighted GPA is around 4.0 or higher):
George Mason
Ohio state
University of Washington
UC Long Beach
UC Santa Barbara

Was high school that hard that you only got 3.3? I don't get it.

yeah as a matter of fact it was, lots of family issues, divorce, balancing sports leadership and a full ib dilploma curriculum. i would say that is hard.........things happen not everyone has the kind of environment to get a 4.0

waht was your gpa?

4.0 and trust me i had problems too but never let anything effect my schoolwork. School always came first.

well through abuse and alcholism in to the mix and school doesnt always come "first" i had trouble even getting to school some days....its not a fair judgment if you dont know somoenes situation. not to be argumentative

and taht was my parents, ive never done any of that, school was always first in my mind

That's a bit condescending. 3.3 UW is a B+. Not bad at all, especially considering the fact that 30% of HS students don't even manage to graduate.

Sometimes environmental factors are beyond our control. To assume that everyone has the same background and support to be able to get a 4.0 GPA is extremely naive. School may not always come first, different people have different priorities in life.
