Title says it all. I’m looking for STEM programs/internships for the summer in between my sophomore/junior year of high school. I’m interested specifically in EECS (electrical engineering and computer science), astrophysics, and math.
I come from a low-income family, so if it is expensive, I would like for the opportunity to at least get scholarship money. I live in Ohio, if that helps any.
Look on mysummeradvisor.com and you can use the search features to look for STEM subjects in the midwest. There will be some free ones. Also, look at the article on research on the homepage.
Read about each program carefully. Some will have financial aid for low-income students, so don’t be discouraged if a program seems pricey!
@BelleofAmherst I looked at this a while ago but forgot to reply to you, lol. For some reason, my state doesn’t offer very much summer programs as opposed to others. There are two-three that I am interested in, but they are extremely competitive to get into. I looked at out of state opinions, but I don’t think my family will allow me to stay at residential camps not near where I live. Oh well! Thanks for the suggestion though!
