What are the best freshman dorms?

I am so tired of nothing happening on this list, so my S has been told (by a friend of his who is a sophmore) that the new and then the old toasters are the best, but what are the names of the new and what are the names of the old toasters? As for whether my S is going to Bard: he wants to go, but we are waiting for financial aid determinations.

This is from the Bard Website: The Alumni Houses are a collection of eleven residence halls at the center of campus. The houses are commonly referred to as the "Toasters", and are mostly first-year students.

The first of which were designed by James Polshek and Partners in 1987 and consist of five adjacent residence halls. The first four are named in honor of alumni, Richard Rovere '37, William Rueger '40, The Reverend Frederick A. Shafer '37 and John H. Steinway '39 and house 19 students each. The fifth, Honey House, houses 9 students. B**
In January of 2001, a group of six additional student residence halls, Bourne, Bluecher, Leonard, Obreshkove, Shelov and Wolff opened their doors. These buildings house between 19 and 21 students each. B**

D lives in a New Toaster and is mostly happy with it. Avoid Tewksbury.

Oh, and congrats to your son!

Just curious, why avoid the Tewksbury dorms? (My d got accepted to Bard and will be making her decision once she hears back this month from a couple of other schools she applied via RD.)

Thanks!

That's exactly what I was looking for. S wants to go to Bard, got in IDP and will most likely go, He applied to a couple other places, and we are awaiting those, mainly in regard to financial aid determinations, but I think there is a 90% percent he is going to BARD.
