What are the best movies you've seen in class?

We watched Monty Python's Quest for the Holy Grail in both my graphic design class and my freshman english class, lol (and it's one of my favorite movies EVAR!), so I suppose that would have to be it for me.

Last year we didn't watch very many movies, although we did watch [url=<a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0099073/%5DAvalon">http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0099073/]Avalon</a> (1990)/url in English Lang. That was pretty good, albeit a tad depressing.

After the AP test we watched Contact in Bio (teacher's a big Sagan fan). I enjoyed that one as well. :]

I watched Monty Python in 10th grade English class and 11th grade English class. It was pretty good.
I also watched Disney's The Lion King in 9th grade English class.

Monty Python, A Beautiful Mind, Fight Club, My Cousin Vinny, a bunch of random ones in French (but English movies), a bunch of funny French movies... etc.

We watched an orgy in AP Latin: Vergil.

We watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail in chemistry. <3

I had an English teacher two different years (freshman and senior) who liked to watch old-school horror movies on Halloween. I think both times our class watched the old black and white Frankenstein. We watched a lot of movies in that class. If we read a book that had a related movie, we watched it. If it didn't, he picked something that was close enough. Like, Catcher in the Rye didn't have a movie so we watched Finding Forrester. Also, once a year we would watch a totally unrelated movie. One year we watched Dodgeball. I can't remember what the other one was.

We watched The Empire Strikes Back in AP US my junior year. (We had to come up with some BS way to connect it to the class. We said something about imperialism and technological improvement. My teacher decided it was close enough. :D)

In health we watched The Lion King and A Beautiful Mind.

We watched movies CONSTANTLY in aerobics (while we were on the exercise bikes and stuff), so I saw a ton of different ones the year I took it. I think I saw Elf like three times that year.

Basically my teachers were big on movies, lol.

The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift and a bunch of Michael Jackson music vidoes. Good times!

The Man in the Iron Mask, Gladiator for History classes.

A Beautiful Mind in Health.

Into the Wild in English class. We were studying transcendentalism, so it made sense.

Queen Margot (La Reine Margot) in AP Euro to study St. Bart's Massacre, then a Chinese movie entitled To Live about communists in China.

Cool Hand Luke.

^Every time I hear of that movie i think of Gilmore Girls.

supersize me

probably movies watched in French class:

jeux d'enfants (love me if you dare)
amelie
a la folie, pas du tout (he loves me, he loves me not)

i don't remember what other movies i've watched in french...
there was "le grand bleu" but i really didn't like that movie...

Tonari No Totoro in Japanese ^_^

Memento and A Beautiful Mind. Both in Psych class

We watched Beowulf after the AP exam in Eng Lang. I watched Dead Poets Society in freshmen english; I liked it. Watched some others but I forgot already.

Lorenzo's Oil and GATTACA (however u spell it) in bio.

superbad...we had nothing to do after IB test in math last year...

We watched Borat in AP Bio. We had to skip a few scenes though. =/
