<p>What are my chances to get into Connecticut College, Vassar College, and Wesleyan University?
About Me:
-16 y/o Asian-American female entering senior year in Fall 2014
-Attend a kind-of poor, urban, large public high school
-Family is middle class, with another sibling attending college
Class Rank: 15/707
GPA: 3.3 Unweighted :( (Bad, I know!)
Taken a lot of AP Classes:
-AP Bio: Score 4
-AP US History: Score 3
-AP World History: TBD (Will be released in July)
-AP English Language: TBD (Will be released in July)
SATS: TBD (Will be released on June 26th!) (Will be taking it again in the Fall)
Clubs:
-Asian American Club (2011-4)
-FBLA (Secretary) (2012-3)
-Fashion Club (Treasurer) (2011-3)
-Math Team (2013-5)
Honor Societies:
-SOYS (Society of Young Scholars) (2013-4)

-March Student of the Month (2013)
-Numerous Art awards

-High Honor Roll

-40 Hours @ local hospital
-24 Hours @ school

<p>But then again, if you’re able to rank in the top 20 in your class with a 3.3, then maybe the colleges will take into consideration of your school’s ranking, funding, etc. But your have outstanding ECs and awards, so that will be a big help your in application!

<p>I agree with jcpgirl’s assessment . get those grades up senior year and some good recs from teachers that really know you. Write stunning essays that show who you are. Good luck!</p>

<p>High match for CC, Wes and Vassar are High Reaches with a 3.3 (ouch!).
Wes just went test-optional, that’s going to hurt you as they will clearly be more GPA-centric than ever.</p>
<p>Thank you for you input. Yeah, my GPA sucks, but I tried bring it up in my junior year and will continue to in my senior year.</p>
