Considering the other chance threads here on CC, definitely a very very very high reach (just a comparison). But other posters can give you a more accurate opinion on why specifically…You still have a lot of time.

Genuine misconceptions are often borne out of satirical, exaggeratory comments. I figured it was worth about 5 seconds to dispell the claim and thereby preclude misconception, so no problem.

It’s pretty early for you to be asking for chances anywhere, but I guess you’re on a good track. But it’s Harvard. It’s pretty much impossible to tell if you’ll get in or not. Your chances are probably as good as any other applicant’s.

From what I have hear/read, the asian applicant pool has VERY competitive stats. Your grades are great. Keep them up. Your ECs are fine for most colleges but unless there is something about your involvement that is not reflected by the list, I don’t think they will get you to the top of your pool. I am most concerned by your 2100. That is low, again for your pool. Lastly, I am concerned that you are so unaware about the college application process that your were under the impression that being Japanese qualified you as URM. Look at the stats of the accepted students in the Decisions threads. They might give you a feel for your competition.
