What are the chances of me getting into Harvard?

I am a sophomore in a public high school with an API score of 812 (I know it's really low).

Last year I took
AP Human Geography-A----AP test 5
Accel Pre calc/AP CAlc A-A
Spanish 2-A
English 9 Pre-IB-A
PE-A
Chemistry-A

I also took the AP Japanese exam and got a 5.

THis year
AP European History-A
IB SL Spanish-A
AP Statistics-A
AP Biology-A
AP English-B
Tennis-A

Extra-Curriculars
Model UN-President
JV Tennis
CSF-Active all semesters
Table Tennis Club-President

Also
SAT-2100

I did the Johns Hopkins Center for Telented Youth Program.

I am Japanese and therefore a minority...
I would appreciate If you could tell me what my chances are of getting into Harvard are.

Considering the other chance threads here on CC, definitely a very very very high reach (just a comparison). But other posters can give you a more accurate opinion on why specifically…You still have a lot of time.

Yes, you’re a minority.

Albeit an over-represented minority.

Being Japanese is a disadvantage over being a non-Asian.

It’s too early in your high school career to give chances. If your scores and grades stay the same, you have low chances.

Sorry Harvard only accepts white people. They kill black people and asians. That’s why I couldn’t get in.

Harvard accepts both Asians and blacks.

Wow, silverturtle, thanks for confirming that for me, I had thought lemone was serious.

^ I’ll presume sarcasm.

Genuine misconceptions are often borne out of satirical, exaggeratory comments. I figured it was worth about 5 seconds to dispell the claim and thereby preclude misconception, so no problem.

Are you saying that people are actually stupid enough to think that Harvard only accepts whites?

^ heheheheheehe

He was obviously joking. But Harvard is difficult to get into.

Berkeley is safer, it’s roughly 1/2 asians and 1/2 whites. Native Americans are hunted there.

It’s pretty early for you to be asking for chances anywhere, but I guess you’re on a good track. But it’s Harvard. It’s pretty much impossible to tell if you’ll get in or not. Your chances are probably as good as any other applicant’s.

From what I have hear/read, the asian applicant pool has VERY competitive stats. Your grades are great. Keep them up. Your ECs are fine for most colleges but unless there is something about your involvement that is not reflected by the list, I don’t think they will get you to the top of your pool. I am most concerned by your 2100. That is low, again for your pool. Lastly, I am concerned that you are so unaware about the college application process that your were under the impression that being Japanese qualified you as URM. Look at the stats of the accepted students in the Decisions threads. They might give you a feel for your competition.

You got an A in Tennis? Impressive, I could only manage a B+…

Silverturtle, you didn’t explain the second part for me. Does Harvard kill Asians and blacks after they accept them?
