omg its the 16th already...but the results STILL arent out!

a friend told me that admissions emailed him with the time Noon EST.

... i hope its true

Noon EST! wow, then i might actually get my decision before my concert. I'm sooooooooooo nervous right now! PLEASE ACCEPT ME YALE AND HAVE MERCY ON MY SOUL, GHOST OF ELIHU.

lol, if not noon im sure proably 5 pm? so no worries, wrathofgod :)

omg are you serious? noon? that's great, but that's kind of a weird time.

I just want to know. I have an final english paper due at five and if I don't find out soon, I'm not seeing myself finishing it.

12 isn't that outlandish. They usually get them up the night before, they were behind this year, 12 is right in the middle of the business day. I wouldn't be surprised, but I still think that it's more likely going to be at 5.

wow, and it looks like even if i do get it done i'll be saying things like: and so the author try to express he condition with an metaphor...

Who is this friend who got the email? I'm just curious how he got one and we all didn't...anyhow, 5 pm is still the time I'm expecting.

Twelve's lovely, because for me it means nine in the morning. I love the time difference thing.

doesn't it kill you guys to know that somewhere out there in the country there is a letter, whether on a truck or on one of those cloth carts, that has you're decision in it. BUT YOU CANT SEE IT! I wish I had bonafide psychic abilities.

It's chilling, really, just to visualize the letter sitting on a mail truck, and just to know that there's one big word on there that makes the difference (at least for now). I always think about my Yale letter.

Trite as it may sound, so close, yet so far.

ya, mine might be crossing the atlantic!

its already 8 pm dec.16th here...today was such an agonizing day since my mother made me clean my room and i had even more time to think..

this whole day is either gonna make or break my winter break. HA! I used "break" twice...

kolliparap, the friend emailed some person at the admissions office. i actually just met him on AIM the other day through CC. his CC name is t3hcan0n

So, what's the consensus? Noon or evening?

I guess we'll find out at noon.

Heh...I'll be on my way home from my school at noon (I go to a boarding school, and today is the last fall exam)...this will give me some time to beat my head a little bit more over the whole notification process.

All I can say is, good luck everyone

odds we'll see the decisions today-
is the Pope Catholic?
are gummis yummy?
is 25% of Yale gay?
is 30% of Yale Jewish?
yes, yes, yes, yes. good chances.

good luck lil ones.
as for the "delay", keep in mind we all wanna get the hell out of here, 'tis hectic. it's basically Winter Break already. 12 seems right since they probably wanna leave the office early. i dunno.
