What are the Georgetown Essays?

I'd like to know them before i start applying!

It depends on which school you apply to. There is a short essay (about half a page) about the significance of the activity in which you were most involved, and then there are two one page long essays

Essay One
ALL APPLICANTS : The Admissions Committee would like to know more about you in your own words. Please submit a brief essay,
either personal or creative, which you feel best describes you.

Essay Two

APPLICANTS TO GEORGETOWN COLLEGE : Please relate your interest in studying at Georgetown University to your goals. How do
these thoughts relate to your chosen course of study? (If you are applying to major in the FLL or in a Science, please specifically
address those interests.)

APPLICANTS TO THE SCHOOL OF NURSING & HEALTH STUDI E S : Describe how your experiences or ideas shaped your decision to pursue
a health profession and how these experiences or ideas may aid your future contribution to the field.

APPLICANTS TO THE WALSH SCHOOL OF FOREIGN SERVICE : Briefly discuss a current global issue, indicating why you consider it
important and what you suggest should be done to deal with it.

APPLICANTS TO THE MCDONOUGH SCHOOL OF BUSINESS : Briefly describe the factors that have influenced your interest in
studying business.

Do you know the word limits on these?

Thanks!

the application is available online. technology is amazing.

indeed. Technology is utterly useful... and btw, there are no word limits. They say "about a page" in length. That means anywhere from 400-800 words, approximately.

A page is usually about 500 words for most prompts. Even if it isn’t specified, it should be a reasonable enough target to hit.

Are these still the essays? Sorry for the necro.

Yes, they’re the same.

How to find them on the Georgetown application? Like in which file do I find them?
