<p>If that is all you can put down, then probably no. Surely you have more than that one thing. It is understandable if it is your passion and what you want to focus on in your essays, but they need to see a wider scope, and possibly some leadership. If you didn’t take leadership roles, that’s OK but you then have to “make up” for that with intensity for what you are passionate about.</p>
<p>After all, Dartmouth sees thousands of applicants with great grades and test scores, excellent EC’s in various pursuits with some leadership roles, and not a few of them are also strong writers interested in pursuing that further. You have to make them want you at least as much.</p>
