I was wondering which TV shows are generally the most popular at colleges and universities, at least among those who have the time to watch.

From my college visits, The OC seems very popular.

Which other shows are?

I was wondering which TV shows are generally the most popular at colleges and universities, at least among those who have the time to watch.

From my college visits, The OC seems very popular.

Which other shows are?

SportsCenter is usually pretty popular. I've also found Price is Right to be well liked by college kids. Many also like Jeopardy.

OC is pretty popular too, as is Family Guy and American Idol. Although I've never seen Twenty Four, I've heard a lot of college kids also like that. (If it's any good let me know so I can check it out).

Gray's Anatomy and Desparate Housewives are REALLY popular at my college.

entourage, 24, grey's anatomy, sports center, family guy, simpsons, old seinfelds, old sex and the city, etc.

ps-- 24 is so addictive and great!

i have been watching price is right and jeopardy since i was a little kid. i am in college and still continue to do so. i also watch entourage, dane cook's tourgasm, and have recently become addicted to 24.

24 is freaking awesome, they go balls to the wall. I once watched season 1 episodes back to back for almost 24 hours. It really gives meaning to when Jack says "I haven't slept in 24 hours, I've killed 2 people since midnight, so maybe you should be more afraid of me than you are now."

Arrested Development is popular among the intelligent folks, or so I've seen.

Good Eats and the old Iron Chef are great too. I love when I can get people to watch the food network. They do sort of depress us though as we then have to go to the dining hall to eat :/

You mean TV shows that are still currently on air?
Grey's Anatomy, 24, Colbert Report, The Daily Show, Late Night W/Conan O'Brien, Simpsons, Family Guy, Lost

Stuff that's no longer on:
Arrested Development, Friends, Seinfeld

24, House, and Rescue Me are all big in my social group.

For stuff that's no longer on the air...in the last year we've been in the grip of a massive Firefly craze.

You must watch the movie Serenity if you haven't already.

Nip/Tuck... amazing

TV really isn't as big at college as it was in high school. I used to watch maybe one to one and a half hours of TV a day, but I don't watch any TV anymore in college. Same goes for most of my friends.

Maybe its just my school, but that was my observation.

But I'd still say the biggest show would be Family Guy.

24 is the greatest thing ever. My dream is to one day get my ass kicked by Jack Bauer.

Wow, no love for Prison Break???

24!!!!! The one and only!

Lost, Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, Laguna Beach/The Hills (among the sorority crowd esp), Family Guy, Futurama, pretty much anything on Adult Swim, 24, Law and Order reruns, etc.

Personally, I'm all about Lost and Grey's Anatomy, and also, I've been hooked on the new Doctor Who recently, as have some of my friends. I like to watch Futurama when I catch it flipping channels.

24 and Prison Break made Monday nights!

24 hands down. Jack Bauer's da man.

Up until this past 4th of July I never heard of Grey's Anatomy. I've heard just about every other show mentioned here, although I don't neccesarily watch them all. What's that show about?

When I get the chance I like watching House, Prison Break, Bones, and Smallville. As for old shows, Friends, Will and Grace, Fraiser, Seinfield, and Everybody Loves Raymond just for good laughs. South Park too.

This doesn't really answer your question though since this is what I like, not what's popular at my college. I won't be dorming either so I wouldn't know.
