What are the requirements to get into a University in London for an American high school graduate?

Ok, so I'm interested in studying law as an undergraduate student in London, UK

Basically, I have a high GPA, and a low ACT Score

I have a 3.71 GPA and I got a 16 on the ACT. What Universities will accept me?
What are my chances?

Effectively nil unless there is something else you haven’t mentioned.

UK universities look more at standardized testing, not GPA.

Law is a very competitive subject in the UK, same as in the US.

Go to the website of a university you are interested in, click on international students and find out their entry requirements. I hope you also have a lot of APs or the IB.

For instance: <a href=“Undergraduate degrees | Prospective Students Undergraduate - UCL – University College London”>http://www.ucl.ac.uk/prospective-students/undergraduate/degrees/ubllawsing05</a> will show you that fro admission to a straight law degree at UCL, you’ll need to have taken five AP exams, scoring 5 in four of them and at least 4 in the fifth; or if transferring from a US college a college GPA of 3.3 and SAT score of 1950+ or 29 on ACT.

Setting your sights lower, London Metropolitan (a slightly dodgy outfit who had their ability to sponsor visas for overseas students taken away a few years ago although it seems to have been reinstated) says you only need a high school GPA of 3.0 plus “Either, SAT 1 with 600 or above, in maths, critical reading, and writing OR 3-4 ACT (American College Test) relevant subject passes, with a composite/average score value of 25 OR 3 Advanced Placement Test passes with a grade of 3 or above, in relevant subjects.”

Why law in London? Do you want to become a lawyer, and if so, in which country?

I’m actually in a military program called the Armed Forces Community Command. I’m considering becoming an international military attorney. I’m going to study UK law then Islamic Law
