What are you doing this summer?

I'm mostly doing summer programs and studying for the SAT/ACT.
What about you?

Local science camps, volunteering, working at McDonald’s, probably a science-related mentorship.
My last summer of childhood. :(

I’m graduating HS. I’ll be working, continuing my internship, and enjoying my last perfect Florida months with friends - going to the beach, shopping, etc. Can’t wait. I also have to go to my college orientation sometime in June or July.

curing cancer, developing my own calculus, etc., all the standard stuff

Opening two online stores; selling air travel accessories and modern/contemporary furniture for the other. I’m also travelling to the states to see the fam and going to a football camp while there. Fun-filled summer eh?

I’ll be taking a trip with my family to New England for about a week, and we may end up visiting a few colleges while we’re there. Other than that, I’m not sure what I’m going to do yet. I may re-join the Ultimate Frisbee team I was a part of last summer, but I was terrible at it, so I’m not sure.

Oh yeah, and I’m assured of tons of summer IB work being assigned :(.

Hopefully going to Northwestern’s Debate Camp. I’m sending my application out tomorrow.

Hopefully I get into Michigan’s Summer Engineering Academy. I’ll also be interning at UCI Medical Center Neuropsychiatric Lab. Sewing costume for Anime Expo. Wearing said costume to Anime Expo. Then, east coast college tour before E2@MIT!

Oh, and hopefully squeezing Camp NaNoWriMo in there somewhere(lol) Writing college essays.

I’ll be balancing an internship at a financial planning company and hopefully a second one at a tech start-up, and continuing my job as a tutor. Learning some compsci online too so I can skip into AP Compsci next year. In August I’ll be going to the Economics for Leaders program at Berkeley and a debate camp. And amidst all that I’ll be visiting colleges & preparing my college essays! Busy busy summer, I’m super excited (:

Graduating high school -> doing nothing all summer~

I’d go on my yearly vacation to England but I might as well just save the money for study abroad or something.

Taking pre calculus and maybe a computer science course. Volunteering at a local hospital, working maybe, prepping for SAT, ACT, hacking with friends and relaxing

Volunteering, hopefully getting a small job, restarting Tennis & Swimming, and Online School. I usually travel every summer but not this one. ):

Flipping burgers, playing some golf and maybe rugby and a little bit of off-season wrestling. Getting ready for senior year.

Hopefully get into UofT Summer Engineering Program, self study AP’s, volunteer at hospital if I have time, go road trip somewhere in the US with fam, rewatch every single Smallville episode…

Taking some college classes, starting an internship, studying for SAT/ACT/PSAT, practicing the flute and piano, and hopefully get a part-time job. Oh, and tons of summer homework for APUSH, I’ll bet…

I’m going to Namibia for three weeks with National Geographic. Then my family is going to China for three weeks to visit the city we used to live in.

Researching

MITES! Free, 6-week science & engineering program at MIT =). Then off to GA for a couple weeks to see family, and then finally coming back to my friends lol.

I feel like this is the boring answer, but I’ll be working as a counselor at a summer camp for kids. This is my first job, so I’m pretty excited! Also, just prepping for college, lots of planning and shopping  I might go to North Carolina with my best friend for a week or two as well.
