i love farneheit 451 and the hunger games was really good, did you read the sequel catching fire?

I LOVED hunger Games. Catching fire was decent but not my fav book ever.

ya, both were good, i started and finished the hunger games in one afternoon

Yeah I read it in 1 afternoon too. We went out to dinner and I was trying to read it until my mother got mad at me for bad manners.

The same thing happened to me, Blue! Okay, time for the big question…

GALE or PEETA?

Gale. Hands down. I just wanted her to stuff the hunger Games and run with Gale ;)

THANK YOU, BLUE! I am one of the only girls in my class who agrees that Gale is better! I mean… come on! He’s GALE!

I imagine Peeta as Patrick Swayze and Gale as Logan Lerman (omgggg Logan Lerman. I think he was a good fit for the role of Percy Jackson, even though the movies were nothing like the books).

i’ll be sleeping to get ready for FCAT… what fun… :)

FCAT? What’s that? I’m assuming it’s sort of like the STAR?

i think peeta’s better… he’s the one who’s been there for her and risked his life for her so many times. Gale barely liked her. Peeta and Katniss have like a past

It’s the opposite. Gale and Katniss have a past, they helped each other and understand each other.

Don’t get me wrong, Peeta’s nice and all, but Katniss and Gale truly understand each other. That, and I never really bought into the whole deal that Peeta liked her ever since the first day of kindergarten. It just seems unrealistic.

Yeah I agree. And what sort of name is Peeta then again she is called KKatniss

Whenever I hear his name I think of radical animal rights activists. No offense to PETA, I just think they could use better methods to get their (admirable) message across.

Have you read the book Man vs. Beast. You probably havn’t seeing as I don’t think it has been published in the US. Wait are you in the US or are you int’l koink?

Domestic. You think I could get it online or something?

you could try amazon

Have any of you guys read Ender’s Game and Ender’s Shadow? These were my kids’ favorites last year. I liked them a lot too. The only down side was that my son started to wonder whether boarding school was anything like Battle School and started to get a little nervous. :)
