I used to, then I had a nightmare involving the letter R and "ejected".

Now I toss and turn all night. :[

Hug a teddy bear or something. Best Anti-nightmare tool ever. Or so my 7-year-old sister says.

So is anyone else coming up with distraction techniques?

Mine is the day before I am going skiing a few hours away from where I live with a few friends, and then Monday I am going to stay home from school and hopefully sleep all morning. That way I have had an awesome weekend and will be caught up on sleep. If only I could sleep until 5...

I was going to miss school on Monday, but I can't anymore. I have to lead a Bio lab and can't miss it... DAMN!!

LOL "Or so my 7-year-old sister says."

More like personal experience...

i really don't think i can handle the music on, it would make a rejection/deferral that much worse. mmm and i can't decide whether to stay home or not. is anyone else staying home?

I will be staying home, but that is just because it is a mix of going to be tired from skiing all Sunday and being too anxious to function in school. So I will be on CC all day, haha.

my mother would kill me before I missed school for any "trivial" reason like "I'm waiting for an early decision" or "I'm running a 100-degree fever" (-__-), so you guys are lucky that you have the option to stay home, lol

I'll be taking an AP English and Calculus test.

:/

limetime: My mom is a former pediatric emergency room nurse, meaning I have always had to go to school sick. I really can't believe she is letting me stay home this time (I am rather pleased though).

lol same boat! I've never taken a sick day in high school, even though I've been sick many, many times. To my mom, it's somehow missing a day = failing out the entire semester, so I've gone to school literally not able to speak and running 100 degree fevers. Not fun. :P Plus I feel bad just thinking about how many people I got sick because I didn't take a sick day...

Honestly, I have never really been all that sick during the school year, so her background being around uber-sickly people only stinks during sports. I literally broke my leg during cross country (I ran on a stress fracture for a month until it turned into an actual break) because she told me "running is supposed to hurt." Good times.... haha

And up goes the anxiety.

I'm gonna be at work. I totally won't be able to concentrate ..

Cmon Wisconsin snow day Dec 15th!!

My teacher suggested I go skiing...

^^Second you on that one omgitsgeorglopez!! Did you have one yesterday?

Anyway, as it is now the 5 DAY COUNTDOWN, my stress levels are steadily increasing as time decreases and homework load increases... how long will this week last!?!

AP Phyiscs test on Monday...rotational motion -_-
^ i predict fail

i just found out i don't have yoga on monday, which means i'll probably check at school around 3 PM. if it's still not available, i'll go home, check again, then have a snack and watch some tv. i might study a little for my AP econ exam, but, eh, probably not.

^ Imagine opening the test and it says.

Assume you are on a plane. Your pilot checks your Yale decisions and he makes a loop of radii 5 miles. You are are going at 10 meters per second at the bottom of the loop, what is your starting speed and centripetal acceleration assuming you get rejected from Yale.

That would be.

Horrible.
