“Right now Changed Man by Chris Brown where it sounds like he’s apologizing for beating Rihanna.”

He is trying to rebuild his career. But it’s a nice song, I guess.

What? I said I liked the beats he produced, doesn’t mean that I care for his lyrics. They’re catchy instrumentals that are fun at parties. That’s all I’m saying lol.

You didn’t criticize Storch on my list haha, what’s he been doing lately? Oh yeah, getting busted for keeping leases cars for 1 year too long, doing crack, losing his fortune, and currently bowing out of the music biz lol. Don’t hate on Timbo, there’s a erason why he makes so much money, he writes good (albeit party songs) music. :D

went to france recently and got hooked on the classic french hip hop (supreme ntm, IAM)

listening to nas, the knux, lupe fiasco, wu-tang, wiz khalifa/curren$y, the cool kids aka real rap/hiphop. and for some reason, death cab for cutie on the list too. i just like gibbards lyrics

I’m listening to Brand New’s new single “At the Bottom.” Their new CD comes out Sept 22, I can’t wait.

Bon Iver
Belle & Sebastian
Matt & Kim
Ben Folds
God Help the Girl

the past and present bands of anthony green, andrew mcmahon and daryl palumbo.

arent you cool

Mika came out with a new single, so I’ve started listening to that and some of his older songs. And also, “That’s Not My Name” by the Ting Tings and “***** You” by Lily Allen.

Nothing at the moment, but lately, I have been listening to

RENT Soundtrack

Wicked Soundtrack

Spring Awakening Soundtrack

A Very Potter Musical Soundtrack

Queen

Queen Latifah

Ozzy Ozborne

Beach Boys

Cascada

Coldplay

My music is a little varied. I love musicals though. They are just so great to watch and listen to.

^I love Rent. I haven’t listened to the sound track in awhile, but it was the first Broadway show I’ve ever liked, and the one I’ve liked the most. Wicked was good, too, but I don’t have the soundtrack.

^How do you guys not like Phantom of the Opera? lol, it’s awesome!:>

I’ve actually never seen it. I want to, but no one else seems to want to see any Broadway show. The last time I went to see a show was…two years ago. My family’s not much for musicals, I think. I don’t mind them, though.

I actually have only seen the Phantom of the Opera on stage. I need to see the ones I listed above on stage. RENT was my first musical too, haha. The music is good, but sometimes I think it’s a little too depressing, haha. Though, I should give it a listen again since I haven’t listened to it in a while.

This past year, I compared RENT and the Scarlet Letter using the theme of living in the present, not in the past. I ended it with saying, and there is no future, there is no past, and there is no day, but today. I thought it was awesome, lol. I got a 94, so I was happy, haha

^That’s pretty cool. I wish I got to do something like that for the Scarlet Letter but…not so.

I did see a parody of a scene from Phantom of the Opera, though. It involved someone dropping a lightbulb on stage (as opposed to a chandelier).

I find Rent very similar to Moulin Rouge in some respects.

Well, I haven’t actually seen Moulin Rouge, but from what I read on wikipedia, I do see what you’re saying.

Well, if you can find it, it’s a great movie. Although apparently it can be a very love/hate sort of thing, which makes sense. The first few minutes are very strange. Rent is a bit more straightforward.

On another note, I have found Bon Jovi’s single to be okay.

Owl City!!! Strong Tower!

^ i loved the saltwater room.

i love florence and the machine!
im actually listening to the album right now

but other than that:
phoenix
cold war kids
regina spektor
the kooks
hannah montanna (pshh im really cool)

90’s pop is the best.

Kill Hannah
London After Midnight
She Wants Revenge
Dredg
Arctic Monkeys
The Cure
Muse
Smashing Pumpkins
Swingle Singers
Porcupine Tree
Bjork

;). Unfortunately, I’ve played all my Broadway recordings to death, so I’ve been taking a massive break from the world of musical theater, haha
