Well it's better to be good at one thing than to be crappy at everything.

Twilight

LOLWUT??

Penn, you have written lolwut to all of your posts lately.

It's funny.

Twilight seemed to be made only as eye candy for teenage girls.

I liked Made of Honor

Imo WALL-E was the best. Even better than Dark Knight.

I'm so looking forward to seeing Revolutionary Road and The Wrestler.

I'm so glad Mickey Rourke made a come back [thanks to Sin City].

KATE WINSLET BETTER WIN AN ACADEMY AWARD THIS YEAR.

Slumdog Millionaire THE END.

Pineapple Express was something, though.

IMO: Milk was the best.
Slumdog Millionaire, The Visitor, and Gran Torino were also great.
Benjamin Button was overrated.
Revolutionary Road was good, but extremely depressing.
Still want to see Doubt, The Reader, Frost/ Nixon, The Wrestler and Defiance.
Ive spent way too much money on movies lately :(

i've yet to find any actual indian who liked slumdog millionaire, and for good reason

Slumdog Millionaire, easily.

maybe its because u guys have never seen a bollywood movie. But hate to break it to you. Slumdog was like a hundred other movies i have see in my life, albeit a little more focused.

slumdog millionaire was good, but a movie shouldn't have to torture its characters to make you cry

i really liked bolt, it was cute and funny and made me cry

I have not seen any foreign films this year, but typically, 4-5 of my favorite movies each year are foreign flicks.

Oooooooo, I DID see Tropic Thunder! So even though I didn't like the movie very much, I guess that's my favorite film of 2008 (as well as my least favorite).

My top eleven looks a little like . . .

In Bruges

Vicky Cristina Barcelona

Frost/Nixon

W

Let The Right One In

Disapointed by The Dark Knight, Pineapple Express, and Slumdog Millionare. Still dying to see Synecdoche, New York, Milk, and a few others.

I was quite pleasantly surprised by Slumdog Millionaire. Really enjoyed it.

I heard In Bruges was the most underrated movie of the year.

I guess so, seeing as Colin Farrel got the Best Actor (comedy/music) Golden Globe for it.

in bruges is acquired taste. i hated it because i couldn't understand their irish accents.

I watched a lot of Bollywood growing up. I loved Slumdog. Literally everyone I know who has seen Slumdog liked, if not loved it. And I've talked to friends from India, Indian Americans, Indian Malaysians -- the Indians seem to love it the most. I would say there's a general consensus that Slumdog is the best of Bollywood plus the best of Hollywood.
