3- Duke
4- Vanderbilt
5- University of Virginia

8- Wake Forest
9- Boston College
10- Lehigh

Brown University

Dartmouth College

Princeton University

University of Pennsylvania

Boston University

Amherst College

Swarthmore College

Washington and Lee University

Davidson College

University of Richmond

Don’t know if I really have a top 10 in mind.

Probably something like this I guess:

MIT

Standford

Cornell

UC Berkeley

Northwestern

beyond that I don’t know.

Dartmouth College

U Virginia

Amherst

UNC Chapel Hill

Duke

Stanford

Missouri

UF

UT Austin

Kentucky

Realistic top 5 (financially and good chances)

 1. UVA
 2. Missouri
 3. Alabama
 4. Notre Dame
 5. West Virginia

Schools I’m definitely applying to

 1. UW Madison
 2. University of Alabama (full tuition scholarship)
 3. UMN Twin Cities

4. UIUC

Schools I probably won’t apply to
5. UT-Austin
6. UC Berkeley
7. UW Seattle
8. Northwestern (not that I’d get in anyway…)
9. University of Oregon
10. USC

NYU, Syracuse, U. of Southern California, U. of Santa Barbara, UC Denver, and Belmont

1 is definitely Macaulay Honors College. Preferably at Queens or CCNY

My other dream schools are:
Cornell
Binghamton
Vanderbilt
Albany
Rutgers
Johns Hopkins
University of Georgia
Ohio State
Vassar
Dickinson

Paying for them is of much more concern to me than actually getting in…

For undergrad studies, my top ten would be:

 1. University of Maryland-College Park
 2. Penn State-University Park
 3. University of Georgia
 4. University of Delaware
 5. University of Colorado-Boulder
 6. USC
 7. UNC-Chapel Hill
 8. UVA
 9. Temple
 10. UConn

…and for medical school:

 1. Penn Medical School
 2. Harvard Medical School
 3. Temple Medical School
 4. USC Keck Medical School
 5. UCSF
 6. Penn State Milton Hershey Medical School
 7. University of Maryland Medical School
 8. UCLA Medical School
 9. Michigan Medical School
 10. NYU Medical School

My universities change pretty much daily, but here is my current list

Vanderbilt

University of Madison-Wisconsin
3.University of Georgia
4.University of Virginia
5.Georgetown
6.University of Maryland
7.Chapel Hill

This is my tentative list. The only one I have visited so far is Madison, and I liked it a lot more than I expected. The only problem is it’s location; I really don’t want to stay in the Midwest. As for the other ones, I don’t know if I am going to apply to all of them. After all, if I don’t love them, then why ruin someone else’s chances that do?

I am obsessed with Vanderbilt, and plan on visiting this summer. If I love Nashville and Vandy in person as much as I do on paper, I will most likely apply there early decision. Wish me luck!

TOP 10 REACH SCHOOLS:

 1. Yale
 2. UPenn
 3. Columbia
 4. Princeton
 5. Johns Hopkins
 6. Georgetown
 7. Brown
 8. Dartmouth
 9. Duke
 10. Northwestern

TOP 10 TARGET (REALISTIC SCHOOLS)

 1. UC Berkeley
 2. University of Southern California
 3. Rice (double legacy)
 4. UCLA
 5. UC San Diego
 6. New York University
 7. Wellesley
 8. Tufts
 9. University of Michigan
 10. University of Washington

You are ambitious.

Be advised that most definitely Tufts and Wellesley; and possibly UMich, UCBerk and USC are not “realistic” for anybody, (unless in-state factors are considered for the latter three).

UPENN

NYU

Columbia

Cornell

Stanford

Dartmouth

Berkeley

Princeton

UMichigan

Georgetown

CMC***
Swarthmore***
Pitzer***
Colorado College**
Occidental*

Those are all I care about. But if I had an automatic “in” at any school, I’d also throw Rice, Yale, Dartmouth, Stanford, and Williams into the equation.

Notre Dame

Georgetown

Harvard

Yale

Boston College

These are the only schools I actually visited and considered. They’re all superb schools, but that’s how they stand in my mind
