thats awesome sweetsaz... we represent eastern coast!
Im the minority in my school as well.

heck yes ! :)

I'm the worst Asian ever.

I'm fourth generation, half-Japanese.... I can speak about 20 words of the language (I really wish my grandparents had taught my mother Japanese so she could've taught me!). And I just learned how to use chopsticks this year.

So, basically, the only Asian thing about me is my middle name, and how I look, sort of.

I'm second-generation Mainland Chinese.

Chinese is actually my first language. I learned English when it was obvious that at daycare I did not know what everybody was saying. Obviously, since I was like three, I picked up English quite well.

At my peak literacy, I was about 10% literate (ie. I knew about 200 characters). I'm trying to regain my literacy. My spoken Chinese is fine though. I can watch Chinese films and understand about 80% of what's going on without subs. Sometimes I think I can sub better than they can :D

I'm 100% Korean...haha..how boring is that

Okay? Congratulations to the state of California! claps

I'm just saying I'm glad not to be in the MAJORITY, so don't try to knock me down, okay?

Sure, over there it may not be different in California, but in New Jersey I'd say its VERY DIFFERENT. So please do not speak for me, when I am just talking about MY REGION. Thank you.

Seriously, I didn't mean to come off like I was the ONLY CANTONESE person out there. I don't care how many are in California...

Just because you have experienced that, does not mean that applies to everyone else. It's certainly not true in my case.
