Hello,
I'm applying to PhD programs in Behavioral Neuroscience and I know that one of the most important factors deciding whether one gets in or not is research experience. I have one year's worth from when I was an undergrad, but I didn't get published or anything like that. I've applied to all of the labs in the area and none of them need RAs. Is there anything else that can count as research experience that will better my chances of getting into grad school?

Thank you very much!
