<p>I just checked my dodmerb status and sadly I got this message:
Agency: US Naval Academy Current Medical Status ( as of 4/3/2007):
Medical waiver denied</p>
<p>These were my problems:
D004.00 - Orthodontic appliances
D155.71 - Myopia - Refractive error greater than - 6.00 diopters (sphere component only)
D257.70 - Unaided distant visual acuity worse than 20/40
D260.10 - Waiver Denied - USNA</p>
<p>I haven't gotten anything in the mail yet so I don't know what the actual letter will say. I think I've heard that there are ways to appeal these denials. Does anyone have any insight as to what I can do. I wasn't sure about the Naval Academy before, but after my CVW I fell in love with it and this just kills. I really want to go. Thanks</p>
